Sweat By Proxy · Exerciser Guide
You do the workout. They get the story.
Every order is a real workout from the standardized catalog, performed on camera in the buyer’s (or recipient’s) name. Your pay is 25% of the workout price — released after your proof passes validation.
The protocol
- Open on camera with the name and the code. Say the recipient’s name and the order’s unique proof code out loud, unedited, before the first exercise. No code, no payout.
- Do the dose as written. Every exercise at its catalog dose — you bought them a mile, however long it takes. Don’t substitute, don’t editorialize the reps.
- Film the full session. The full session is the proof; the buyer receives a 30–60 second highlight cut from it plus your written report.
- Reference their reason. If the buyer shared why they outsourced today, work it into your intro or sign-off — lovingly. Teasing is welcome; meanness is not. The vibe is positive, chummy, teasing-but-kind.
- Close it out. A quick written report (what you did, how it felt) completes the order.
Sample lines (make them your own)
- “{Name}, this is your workout — I’m just the one doing it. Code word: {CODE} — let’s go.”
- “You said the couch had custody today. Fair. I’ve got the legs from here.”
- “Just finished your workout. Every rep, in your name. You’re welcome — and I mean that.”
Validation reviews the transcript for the recipient’s name, the proof code, the exercises performed, a positive/chummy/teasing-but-kind tone, and a nod to the buyer’s reason when they gave one. If a check fails, you’ll be asked to re-record the intro — the workout itself usually stands.
The fine print
Exercisers are independent contractors, 18+, and complete a health self-screen (PAR-Q) and liability waiver before their first paid order. Sessions follow the catalog doses exactly; stop any exercise that feels unsafe and report it. Payouts run through Stripe Connect after validation passes — never by hand.
